This one of a kind necklace was inspired by the recent passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  She was once asked when she thought there will be enough women on the Supreme Court, and of course, her response was brilliant - "when there are nine."  This necklace has nine fine silver handmade trapezoid pieces that are textured, oxidized and have been bonded with 24k gold with the Keum Boo process.  This piece is a nod to not only her famous dissent collar, but also the one she wore when she wrote the majority opinion, as it was bright gold in color.

A portion of the proceeds for this piece will be donated to the ACLU.  As a woman who attended law school and who reeped the benefits of her hard work and incredible career, I wanted to honor her life's work in this piece.

This collar style necklace hangs on an 18in sterling silver neckwire.
